Pump Details:

This range of pumps are considered a water transfer style of pump. This means they are great for high volumes of water movement however they will not produce the high discharge pressures of some other models. Water transfer pumps have very good suction lift capabilities meaning they can lift water from in ground dams or pits with ease. All of these pumps are capable of lifting water a maximum of 7m elevation on the suction side of the pump.

This style of pump requires initial priming with water but once there's water in the casing, they will typically re-prime with ease. To prime the pump, simply pour water into the top of the pump casing via the priming port, re-seal the pump casing and start the engine.
