The most popular model tractor flail mower. It's simple design makes it incredibly robust, suitable for a wide range of tractors with 3 point linkage in either Category I or II. Due to the popularity, these units are available in one configuration only with the hydraulic side shift fitted as standard, offering incredible value for money. If your tractor is not fitted with rear hydraulic capability, the unit can still be used with the hoses disconnected minus the side shift functionality.
This flail mower is fantastic for shredding long grass but can also work well for bush and shrubs up to 50mm in diameter. The rolling blade design of the flail mower differs from a horizontal swing blade slasher and means if a rock or log is impacted, the individual blade can swing back rather then stopping the entire cutting mechanism. The flail design outperforms other cutting designs in longer grasses where mulching and faster decomposition of the cut grass is desired.
These flail mowers will also deliver a clean and well finished cut to your lawns. The cut height can be adjusted between 20mm / 40mm / 60mm, in addition to the 3-point linkage height adjustment options. The unit is fitted with a self leveling roller and rear scraper. Supplied standard are high quality forged and hardened hammer blades which have been chosen for their performance in the rugged Australian conditions.

The gearbox will require oil to be added prior to use, SAE EP 90W should be added. The unit is clearly labelled to remind users of lubrication requirements. Whilst initial factory greasing is performed, we recommend new owners perform their own greasing prior to use to learn their machine and maintain it. The supplied user manual includes instructions on recommended maintenance and lubrication for the machine.
